Bookstore Romance Day Swag Bag Giveaway – Official Rules

  • Date: Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. Pacific time (ends earlier if supplies run out).
  • Eligibility: Open to customers in the United States. Receive one free swag bag with the purchase of one qualifying new book from the Wink & Woo website (winkandwoo.com) or in-person on August 15. Preorders do qualify, but your swag bag will not ship until your preorders ship. Audiobooks do not qualify.
  • Limit: One swag bag per customer during the event, regardless of the number of transactions.
  • While supplies last: Giveaway ends when all swag bags have been distributed. Swag bags will be distributed in the order qualifying purchases are completed until all bags have been claimed. 
  • No rain checks: Swag bags cannot be reserved, held, or claimed after the event if supplies run out.
  • Contents: Swag bag contents are selected at random and may vary from bag to bag and may include promotional items provided by publishers, authors, and other businesses.
  • Mature content notice: Most swag bags will include promotional materials or books intended for adult readers (18+) and may contain explicit sexual content, both written and in art. 
  • No substitutions: Contents of swag bags vary and cannot be substituted or exchanged. Swag bag items are provided as-is. Wink & Woo cannot replace unwanted, missing, damaged, or defective items included in swag bags.
  • No cash value: Swag bags have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for store credit.
  • Returns: If a qualifying book purchase is returned, the swag bag must also be returned in new condition with all contents.
  • Manager discretion: Wink & Woo reserves the right to modify, suspend, or end the giveaway at any time if unforeseen circumstances arise.
  • Fulfillment: Swag bags ship or are delivered with your book purchase. Any additional shipping charges are covered by Wink & Woo. If your order is for a preorder, your swag bag will not ship until your book does.
